Who is AHC?
  • The Anahola Homesteaders Council (AHC) is an organized group of concerned Native people organized since 1994 to bring about positive changes to our community in Anahola, on the island of Kaua'i, in the state of Hawai'i.
  • We received our IRS approved non-profit status on August 12, 1996.
What is Project Faith?
  • Project Faith is a development concept critical to the future of Native Hawaiian people on Kaua'i.
  • Both economic and cultural benefits to the community will provide positive impacts from this project
  • The valuable Native Hawaiian culture in all aspects of life, includes economics, social and educational needs
  • Native Hawaiians future can flourish under the Project Faith concept
  • Faith in the future means opportunity for Native Hawaiians
  • Opportunities expanded for all Native Hawaiians, giving them opportunities to sustain extended families, qualify for homes, jobs, and kupuna care, the keepers of the culture.
What is your vision?

We envision a way to:

  • Improve the social fabric of our community.
    • We seek to develop solutions to
      • Reduce high unemployment,
      • Address social depression,
      • Improve on community deterioration,
      • Support a growing elderly population and
      • Combat the rise in at-risk youth concerns.
  • To collectively plan, design, and build a Multi Purpose Service Center meeting the needs our community in Anahola.

  • To develop a Community-Based Educational, Cultural and Commercial Service Center offering solutions towards:

  • Anticipated increased housing development by the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) benefiting Native Hawaiians in Hawai'i

Our mission is to:

  • To plan-design-build a Multi-Purpose Educational, Cultural and Commercial Social Service Center benefiting native Hawaiians in Anahola on Kaua'i.

  • Project Faith is Located in Anahola, Kaua’i, Hawai’i
  • 20 acres located adjacent to and on the Kapa‘a side of the existing Hawaiian Homestead subdivision (mauka side of Kuhio Hwy)
