About Us

NATIVE PEOPLE’S MARKETPLACE in Anahola, Kaua'i

The Native People’s Marketplace is the first phase of a cultural and economic development plan driven by the Anahola Homesteader’s Council called Project Faith.  The Native People’s Marketplace will operate in Anahola weekly on Mondays from 9am to 2pm and Saturdays from 11am to sundown.  The marketplace will eventually operate Monday through Saturday on a weekly basis.  The marketplace will provide an economic engine for the local people to sell their products and services to the community at large.

Future phases of Project Faith (www.anahola.net) include the development of a cultural center, a kupuna elderly care center, a wellness retreat center, a retail business center (gas station, post office, bank, retail store space and professional office space, etc.), and the future home of the Kanuikapono Charter School (www.kanuikapono.org).

The Native People's Marketplace will be a vehicle for:
  • Cultural Exchange
  • Market for Goods and Services
  • Entertainment Center
  • Space for Community Gatherings
    • Fundraisers
    • Conferences
    • Conventions
    • Concerts

We will offer Entrepreneurial Courses for families interested in starting home businesses that they can market at the Native People's Marketplace.  We will create a fund for micro lending and incubating small family businesses.

The Native People's Marketplace will be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week through our Native People's On-Line Virtual Marketplace where customers can shop on-line and pick-up their purchases at the physical marketplace or even have those purchases delivered for a nominal delivery fee.

If you are interested in working as part of the Native People's Marketplace team give us a call at (808) 645-6038 and ask for Nestor Figueroa.

We look forward to greeting you at the Native People's Marketplace!

Mahalo!
